CAR WALKS is a combination of day trips by car and hiking. Both parts are well prepared, thoroughly marked and described, and of adequate length. The special tour sheets that contain sketch maps and information texts make it easy to find your way. The starting points for the hike are marked on the route map for the car leg, including possible parking places. The car park is marked on the hike map. The tour sheets make the trip more interesting and full of information, and they can be bought at tourist offices and many accommodation sites in Hordaland for NOK 10 (approx. Euro 1.25). Pdf tours sheets for itineraries and hiking are available online from May 2005.
